Cookies, clearly explained.
Updated 1 October 2026
Cookies are small files that help a website remember information. Meet Ror uses storage for sign-in, security and choices you make. We do not currently load advertising or analytics trackers.
Storage we use
| Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase authentication cookies (sb-…) | Keep you signed in and refresh your session. Essential to account features. | Up to 400 days, refreshed while you use the account; removed at sign-out. |
| meetror_verified_email | Prove that you verified an email before creating your account. | 30 minutes, or until account creation. |
| Connection and OAuth cookies | Protect provider sign-in against forgery and return you to the right page. | Short lived, normally 10 minutes; cleared when the connection completes. |
| meet-ror-colour-theme (local storage) | Remember the colour theme you choose. | Until you clear site data. |
| meetror-cookie-notice (local storage) | Remember that you dismissed the storage notice. | Until you clear site data or the notice changes. |
Security checks and payments
If a form needs a human verification check, we explain it before loading Google reCAPTCHA. Google may process network and browser information and use security cookies. See Google’s privacy policy and terms. You can contact admin@meetror.com if you cannot complete a challenge. Stripe operates its own payment page and explains its storage there.
Your choices
Essential storage enables the service you request and is not used for advertising. You can clear or block it in your browser, but doing so can sign you out or prevent connections from completing. No optional tracking is enabled by dismissing our notice. If we introduce optional trackers, we will provide a separate choice before loading them, with an equally easy way to refuse and withdraw consent.
For information about personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
